Glen Johnson says that Man City’s “talented” ace could have “a tough game” against Liverpool.

According to Glen Johnson, one Manchester City player may have a “tough” afternoon on Saturday when they play Liverpool.
This next Saturday, the top two teams in the Premier League will square off at the Etihad Stadium, with the host team leading Jurgen Klopp’s team by one point.
The former Reds defender thinks that although City is leading their attempt to win a fourth straight crown, the Merseysiders have a guy in particular who can torture his direct opponent.
Johnson stated to Squawka, “Josko Gvardiol won’t use [Mo] Salah’s performance as a benchmark because when he’s playing well, he can challenge anyone in the world.”
“He’s obviously a good defender, and [Pep] Guardiola has trusted him to play in these big games right away.” He’ll undoubtedly have a difficult time stopping Salah, because the player is gifted.
Since joining Man City in the summer, Gvardiol has mostly been played as a left-back, though in his most recent games, he has been employed centrally (Transfermarkt).
Guardiola may want to match the Croatian up against Salah on Saturday, however their last game saw them lose four goals using a back three formation against Chelsea.
The attacker for Liverpool has been playing brilliantly, even by his own high standards.
He has scored seven goals in his last five league games and twelve overall this season (Transfermarkt); the 31-year-old will be confident in his ability to make a significant impact against whoever opposes him this weekend.
