Although there has been much talk about Liverpool’s interest in Douglas Luiz of Aston Villa, it appears that the 25-year-old midfield player may not be joining Anfield anytime soon.
Liverpool and other Premier League teams, including Manchester City and Arsenal, are interested in Luiz, but Aston Villa, who are experiencing a renaissance under manager Unai Emery, are unlikely to accept offers for the player during the January transfer window. 90min claims this (h/t Liverpool Echo).
