Unbelievable: John van’t Schip has signed two of the most expensive and biggest contracts ever and promises to complete them in the next three weeks.

Unbelievably, John van der Schip has committed to finishing the two largest and most costly contracts ever in the next three weeks.

Voetbal International reports that a formal deal has been reached between Ajax and John van ‘t Schip. After Maurice Steijn steps down at the end of the season, the 59-year-old will take over as manager in an acting capacity. In the upcoming days, Van ‘t Schip will be introduced as the new manager of Ajax.

The Ajax team is having the worst start to a league season ever. The Dutch powerhouses lost 5-2 to PSV on Sunday, their sixth loss in eight Eredivisie games. Both that match and the Europa League loss to Brighton on Thursday were overseen by Hedwiges Maduro. Ajax is currently at the bottom of the table, and every week, their prospects of falling to the Eerste Divisie increase.

After just four months as Ajax’s manager, Maurice Steijn was fired last week. John Van ‘t Schip’s name has been associated with Amsterdam ever since the sacking, and now a comprehensive accord has been reached.

The former winger for Ajax and the Netherlands national team has managed teams like Twente, Melbourne City, Jong Ajax, Chivas, PEC Zwolle, and the Greek national team. His greatest task to date will be to maintain Ajax in the Eredivisie. Ajax will next play FC Volendam, their relegation opponents.
