Former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord is in the transfer portal and looking at potential landing spots.

And it’s possible he could bring one of his teammates with him.

247 Sports reported on Sunday that McCord would be visiting with Nebraska on Monday and that receiver Julian Fleming is set to visit the Cornhuskers on Tuesday.

Both McCord and Fleming are former five-star recruits. McCord passed for 3,170 yards and 24 touchdowns in 12 games with Ohio State this season. Fleming has 79 catches for 963 yards and seven touchdowns over four seasons with Ohio State.

Fleming’s best season came when he caught 34 passes for 533 yards and six touchdowns in 2022.

Nebraska has been viewed as the favorite to land McCord. It would be a boon to the Huskers if they could land both McCord and Fleming.

Nebraska went 5-7 this season in their first year under Matt Rhule. While their defense was strong, their offense averaged just 18.0 points per game, which placed them 123rd of 133 teams.
