World Cup 2023: Rachin Ravindra is looking forward to playing against Rohit Sharma’s India in the semi-final of the mega event at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

On November 15, New Zealand will play India in the semi-final.

The World Cup 2023’s third-highest run scorer is Rachin Ravindra.

Ravindra is currently leading the tournament with three hundreds.

In anticipation of New Zealand’s matchup with India in the World Cup 2023 first semifinal, which takes place on Wednesday, November 15, at Mumbai’s famed Wankhede Stadium, young Rachin Ravindra sounded enthusiastic.

When India last played at the Wankhede, they defeated Sri Lanka by a massive margin of 302 runs, needing just 19.4 overs to bowl them out for 55 runs.

However, Ravindra stated that the Black Caps would make an effort to remain composed during the intense matchup with the Men in Blue.

You imagine yourself playing in front of a boisterous crowd at Wankhede, a venue rich in history, against India, who have never lost there.

We’ll keep our distance and do our best, Ravindra was cited as saying.

He said, “We will see how it plays out because we know we can’t win every cricket match—you might lose (or) win every gam.

The Kiwis made it to the final in 2015, but they were defeated by Australia at the MCG. Under Kane Williamson, they advanced to the 2019 final but lost to the hosts, England, at the Lord’s Cricket Ground.

VERY UNIQUE MOMENT

Over the past few World Cups, New Zealand has stepped up and performed admirably, and Ravindra has praised them for it.

Being in a position to compete for the finals and advance to the knockout stages, along with the way the Blackcaps have been playing over the last three to five World Cups, makes this a very special moment, Ravindra continued.

Third place on the list of the World Cup 2023’s top run scorers currently belongs to Ravindra.

With three hundreds and two fifties to his credit, the southpaw has amassed 565 runs from nine games at an average of 70.62 and a strike rate of 108.44.
